GALEYD (formerly known as Hysteric Liars) is a visual kei band from Tokyo, Japan that started its activities in January 2012, and disbanded officially in February 2015. It consists of the ex-members of aim after the departure of vocalist Rei -レイ-. Since their formation they have held 4 oneman's, released 5 singles and 2 mini albums. It was announced that main composer and guitarist Meku would leave the band due to musical differences. His last live was their 4th Oneman live “REALIVE” in Osaka on August 23rd 2013. Though Meku had announced his departure, GALEYD released their contribution to V-ANIME ROCKS evolution (released October 2nd 2013) with『happily ever after』from the anime Guren Lagann. As of October 31st, 2013, the band iwent on an indefinite hiatus. Although it was announced as a hiatus, some members announced on twitter that they will not return. In October 2014 it was announced that the band would officially disband after a two-man live with ALSDEAD called "NIKKY presents ALSDEAD / GALEYD 2-man live "VS ALSDEAD" at 池袋EDGE" which will serve as GALEYD's last live, taking place 20.2.2015.
