Hi! Geoffrey Castle here. I play six-string electric violin in most of my live shows, but in the studio I still love the sound of a 100 year old violin being played into a $9,000 microphone. My web site is www.GeoffreyCastle.com and all my current releases are available for purchase there! I think Underhill's Angel is quite possibly the best thing I've ever done. So it's a holiday CD. Got a problem with that? Mist on the Mountain was recorded using loop samplers live in the studio. Each track is done in one take. I thought it would be cool to make a CD that I really could do, live, exactly like the record. I started off as a street musician in NY City. I've had a crazy career and the story is too long to put up here, but one thing I have to say is that I love living and touring in the Northwest. It's really beautiful here.
