Ginie Line, born on May 14, 1974 in Montreuil, grew up in Marseilles where she went to beauty school all while being devoted to her passion for the song. Her diploma out of pocket, she finds employment in a hairdressing salon where she works during the day and during the evenings she frequents piano bars of the Riviera. It is one of these evenings chance smiles that she meets a producer who engages it. Very quickly Ginie takes insurance and in collaboration with the pianist of the group, for the music, and of her mother, for the texts, she creates for herself her own repertory. The following year she debuts "Simple Step", followed one year later with a second title (a collaboration on an album by Florent Pagny.) Her work ends up paying when it is committed to play in the musical "the Ten Commandments". In 2002, she records a duet with Ray Charles. Marked by the first steps of Ginie to the cinema in "Alive" as well as sharing a series in concerts which carried out to the four corners of France. The dedication arrives in 2005 with the exit of her first album solo "Play" on which is featured her younger sister, Caroline (born 1979). Favorites movies includes "Gladiator", "Le Fabuleux destin d'Amélie Poulain" and "Pretty woman". Her mother wrote the words of her first song "Un simple pas". Played Egyptian princess Nephertari in musical "Les Dix Commandements" (2000-2002). Shares birthday with Patrick Bruel. Her hobbies are: cinema, nature, drawing, painting and walks in woods and in the mountains. Chose her pseudonym: Ginie as the end of her real first name, and Line as the end of her sister's first name. Read more on Last.fm.
