Golden Void is a psychedelic rock band from the San Francisco Bay Area. The band consists of guitarist/vocalist Isaiah Mitchell, bassist Aaron Morgan, drummer Justin Pinkerton and keyboardist/vocalist Camilla Saufley-Mitchell. The band's first recording was released on 7" in 2011 by Valley King Records with artwork by Alan Forbes. In 2012 Golden Void released their self-titled debut full length album on Thrill Jockey records. The members of Golden Void have been connected musically off and on since they were teenagers. After playing in various bands together and apart throughout high school and the intervening years, Isaiah Mitchell (guitar/vocals, also of Earthless), Aaron Morgan (bass), and Justin Pinkerton (drums) coalesced as Golden Void after Mitchell’s move to the Bay Area in 2009. When the group realized they needed a keyboard player, Camilla Saufly-Mitchell joined the band. Read more on Last.fm.
