Grouse is the work of Dublin, Ireland native, Ronan Carroll. It is an outlet for his electronic, dub and ambient influenced productions. Carroll has released three albums under the name Grouse: 2005's, 'We Want To Be Loved', 2012's 'Heads' and most recently, "Oslo" (2016). An EP of remixes by Carroll himself and others, 'Heads Reworked', appeared in early 2014. The music of Grouse is atmospheric and cinematic, a place where guitars, violins and brass instruments blend with loops, samples and synthesizers. It has been described as, "rewardingly dreamy" (Smother Magazine), "other worldly, hypnotic", (Hot Press), and "delightfully quirky", (Golden Plec). Formed in 2013, the 6 piece Grouse live band bring the music of Grouse to festival and club audiences. http://www.grousemusic.com/ https://www.facebook.com/grousesf Read more on Last.fm.
