San Francisco noise pop combo Henry's Dress was composed of singer/guitarist Amy Linton (ex-Go Sailor), drummer Matt Hartman, and bassist Hayyim. Originating in Albuquerque, NM in 1993, the trio relocated to the Bay Area following Linton's acceptance to the San Francisco Art Institute; concurrently, Slumberland Records agreed to release the band's debut single, "1620." A split single with the legendary Tiger Trap followed, and in 1995 Henry's Dress returned with a self-titled ten-inch EP; in the wake of the much-acclaimed full-length Bust 'Em Green, the trio toured with Rocketship, then disbanded in 1996. Linton later formed The Aislers Set, Hayyim recorded as Uakachaka Guitah, and Matt Hartman has been in several bands since then including The Coachwhips, The Hospitals, and his current band Sic Alps.
