There have been more than one band called His Latest Flame. 1)His latest flame are from Cape Town, South Africa and formed in 2006. After stealing their name from the Elvis Presley song with the same title, they continue to trudge over the past, excavating and pillaging musical elements from the 50’s through to the 80’s and blending them to make their own unique, eclectic sound. 2) His Latest Flame were a mid- to late 80s all-girl pop-rock band from Scotland. They had previously been called Sophisticated Boom Boom, but never got further than a John Peel BBC Radio 1 session. They released the track for which they are probably best known, Somebody's Gonna Get Hurt in 1986 on Go! Discs. Subsequently they moved to London Records and issued the LP In The Neighbourhood in 1989 before disappearing. Read more on Last.fm.
