IBEX THRONE was established in Midvale, Utah during 1997. We only have one goal: to make anti religious and ugly extreme black metal music! Hails to the true and few die hards left in the scene. IBEX THRONE makes bestial ugly black hate exclusively.... Important Statement Official statement regarding Ibex Throne April 30th, Walpurgisnacht.. As many may know the future of Ibex Throne is uncertain at this point in time. Due to the interests and other events happening with the members of the group it has been decided to put Ibex Throne on indefinite hiatus for the time being. While this does not mean that the group is going to disband completely it does mean that there will be no shows, recordings or anything else that will be happening anytime soon. So please stop the inquiries for shows and such. We are not interested at this time. Other members of the band are keeping active in other musical ventures that some of you may know, and others may not. Ibex Throne will not be a catalyst or mouthpiece for these projects so please research the other members projects yourselves. There are some really great bands performing a variety of extreme and underground metal that members of Ibex Throne are involved with. The concept of Ibex Throne still holds true: Anti-life, anti-religion and the homage to all things dark and occult. We want to let everyone know that eventually a new future will await us. We acknowledge the support and dedication shown to us by all of our fans, fellow musicians and other artists over the years. Until the next war, please respect our privacy, our need to explore other things creatively and do not contact us regarding Ibex Throne for shows or records.
