in the arms of Isabel is an original acoustic duo based in Ballarat (VIC, Australia). Comprised of Sam Bell (vocals, guitar, banjo) and Amy Tankard (vocals, keys, harmonica) they deliver honest, concise and reflective interpretations of life and love. Born in 2007 they are a relatively new band and the two met through a music course in Ballarat (Adv Dip music and composition), while the course has a heavy jazz focus the two try and explore their original folk/indie inspired selves whenever possible.
