Ineedtodiscover

ineedtodiscover were a two-piece mathematic-disco punk outfit from the cathedral city of Lincoln, consisting of teenagers Colin Barstow (vox/guitar/keys/electronics) and Karina Lawrence (drums/vox/keys). the pair, who skipped school to meet each other for the first time, have been playing in the same bands for three years and in June, 2007 decided to go it alone. Having signed to Square Peg, Round Hole Records, Ineedtodiscover had been causing a storm of hype, with debut single Mixandmatch being released for digital download on 19th November and on 7' vinyl on 26th November. A band that didn't take themselves too seriously, they were all about practicing in pyjamas, getting lost in the middle of no where, and harry potter. Ineedtodiscover supported such bands as Bono Must Die, GoodBooks, Late Of The Pier, XX Teens, Mumm-ra, Officer Kicks, The Whip and The Video Nasties. They split up in 2008.
