For American Idol seventh-season contestant Brooke White and fellow singer/songwriter Jack Matranga, it was while working together on material for the follow-up to her 2009 album "High Hopes & Heartbreak". The songs worked better when performed by both, and the duo Jack and White was born in Los Angeles, CA. The "Gemini EP" gives a generous preview of what's to come, with spritely strummed guitars and wise-sounding organ enveloping the title track.
