Géraldine Plaut, professionaly known as “Jalane”, is a French pop singer. She started as a dancer but an injury caused her to end this dream pretty fast. After that, she started her musical career and joined the “Kings du Swing”. In 1995 she met French RnB stars K-reen and China but it wasn’t until another group, IAM, opened the doors for her that she got the succes she had been waiting for. In 2001 her solo career started with the single “Femmes”, a tribute to all women. “Ma musique” followed and her debut album simply called “Jalane” was released. Several singles and duets later, in 2007, she released a second album after a break; “Si j’avais su”. Read more on Last.fm.
