Born July 12, 1943, he garnered considerable local attention as a result of his aching falsetto voice, in addition to a vast and eclectic repertoire of songs; still, Laws remained little more than a cult favorite until the release of his 1995 Wolf label debut My Little Girl finally made his music available to a wider audience. Blues Burnin' in My Soul followed in 1999. Read more on Last.fm. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
