Kid North is a parisian Indie Pop band. Just a few months after its creation, the band quickly heads for the stage, and starts gigging in France and abroad. Kid North chose Sam Navel (Adele, Cascadeur, Puggy, Two Door Cinema Club…) to record and produce their first album « Atlas ». Landscapes full of memories, dancing, and melancholy : the band’s signature starts to mature, with solid rythmic patterns and airy guitars. « Atlas » is released in january 2013 on Tsunami Addiction, and praised by the music press (Les Inrocks, Tsugi, Rolling Stone) and newspapers (Metro, Le Parisien). The band performs live acoustic sessions on the major radio stations in France (Oui FM, France Inter, Le Mouv), and their live shows keep getting bigger : Printemps de Bourges Festival, Rock en Seine, and some highlight support shows (Breton, Kaolin, Kakkmaddafakka). In late 2013, the 5-piece becomes a trio. Driven by this new dynamic, the band discovers new inspirations for the making of their second album. Carried by its 3 lead vocals, « Then Alpha » is the first testimony of this new start : more intense, complex and luxuriant, but patently Pop. Read more on Last.fm.
