KimBlee is a New York based singer/songwriter who has performed in the tri-state area and around the world. KimBlee was a regular at Club VINYL’s Body & Soul Party and has recently performed at Club Shelter. She was also featured at Wave Music’s Winter Music Conference Party at Rain in Miami last spring. KimBlee spent 2002 bringing her soulful stylings to both Portugal and Japan. KimBlee began performing at an early age on the small screen in Nickelodeon’s “Kid’s Court”. She discovered her love for the stage; performing in Children’s Musical Theatre and fronting a number of local cover bands. KimBlee has worked with various agency bands including Omnipop Productions, Sound Check Entertainment, and Sound Quest as well as 70’s hitmakers “Alive and Kicking”. On New Year’s 2000, KimBlee brought her skills down south --fronting the funk band “Funkasaurus” in San Paolo Brazil. KimBlee also continues to work with Damon Reed of Nightflyte Entertainment recording Reed’s music and writing and recording her own original pieces. Orion Ray Jones in December 2001’s Mixer Magazine, called KimBlee “perhaps one of the best new vocalists in the genre”. In January of 2002, Wave Records released the single “Fade” and remixes featuring KimBlee. KimBlee is featured on Solu Music’s “Fade” and “Naturally” and on Body & Soul volume 4.
