Kretin

Kretin was a Swedish folk music band/project active 2007-2008. The band consisted of four individuals who liked to play folk music with a kind of strange touch. The songs often had themes ranging from, but not restricted to, mammalian reproduction to old norse traditions of man rape. The bands set of instruments included nyckelharpa (keyed fiddle), shawm, swedish bagpipe, octave mandolin, fiddle and lots of other. In june 2008 they released their only demo CD, entitled "Must" (which is a tricky Swedish word meaning something like "Essence", but it's more or less impossible to translate the meaning of it).
