A hit song with the single 'Golden Days', amazing performances, multiple award nominations, winner of the 3FM Award for 'Best New Artist' and the Edison in the same category: Krystl is having the time of her life. With her first album 'Rolling' she presented her cheerful music to the world. Krystl (her real name) is a happy 28-year-old singer who, as a child, focused on dancing. When she was seventeen she noticed she could sing and found an even bigger passion in singing than she had previously found in dancing. She got accepted to the conservatory in Rotterdam,Netherlands by accident: she went along to sing at the audition of a friend. One of the teachers was so impressed by Krystl's voice that she offered Krystl an education on the school. After a year Krystl switched conservatories and started studying in Enschede, where she graduated. Meanwhile Krystl got a lot of experience from singing with multiple bands, especially being the lead singer in the band L.I.N.E. The band split up a few days before they were supposed to sign their recording contract. Thankfully Universal offered Krystl the chance to sign a contract of her own so she could pursue a solo career. Krystl has spent the past two years figuring out what musical style fitted her best. The first result was the single 'Golden Days', which immediately entered the charts. The song became 3FM Megahit which resulted in Krystl becoming one of 3FM's 'Serious Talents' and two nominations for the 3FM Awards. 'I couldn't have wished for a better start with 'Golden Days'. The song is a good representation of my album 'Rolling', which features songs that are easy to listen to, just like 'Golden Days''. After 'Golden Days', Krystl released two other successfull singles, 'Bottles' and 'Fool For You'. Krystl's record reminds of summer. 'It definitely has a summer vibe; I'd play it on a warm evening with the windows open. Or in the car, to cheerfully drive towards your destination. It's not a record that's meant to be played as background music, the songs are too catchy for that. I suggest people dance to them!' Read more on Last.fm.
