Born Ian Fraser Kilmister on December the 24th 1945 in Burslem, Stoke on Trent England, he became known as 'Lemmy' after becoming the founding and fronting member of the Heavy Metal Band Motorhead in 1975. He is also the bass guitarist in Motorhead. His striking facial features fast made him an icon for metal music. Popular with women Lemmy has boasted to have slept with over 2,000! His chequered rock & roll past only adds to the massive appeal of Motorhead across all generations both young and old.
