Lillian Glinn was born in 1902. She was discovered, by fellow singer Hattie Burleson, while singing in a Dallas church. Lillian Glinn then was a blues singer and vaudeville performer for a brief two years before abandoning secular singing to marry a pastor and return to the church (as well as moving to California).
