Little Sur is a group of friends dedicated to making folk music in a metropolitan setting. Inspired by rich sonic textures and poetic lyricism, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer Josh Meer leads a revolving cast of creative collaborators who each add their own influences and imagery to the ever-evolving aesthetic of the group. Their sound combines the rustic orchestrations of folk music with the instrumental timbres and lyrical musings of modern day indie-rock. The result is both cinematic and emotional, harnessing the authenticity of roots music and the experimentation awarded with contemporary means.
