Long Day Fear were formed in 2008 after frontman Richie Tyler-Woolgrove and Guitarist Stevie Broughton got together and started writing songs that were influenced not only by their own life experiences but by the large number of bands they both had in common, bands ranging from Down, Clutch, Stone Temple Pilots & Black label society to underground influences like Zeke & Orange Goblin, The band took a year and a half to put together the right line up releasing 3 drummers and 2 bass players in that time but the current line up which includes former violent angels Bass player Mark Sinkinson & New awesome Derby based drummer John Willis, is one of attitude, hard work, punk rock ethics and playing every gig like its your last, Signed to brand new independant record label 'Kerosene Records' & Having already supported Panic Cell at Sheffield Corporation club on Dec 17th 2010 and Fozzy at Wrexham central LDF have released their debut album 'Bones' recorded at Hellfire studios in Digbeth, Birmingham with the much regarded soundman Ajeet Gill. With this release full on fuel driven Rock n Roll is on the way back with a massive bang and a whole lotta attitude!! With full on promotion campaigns and interviews/photoshoots booked plus many many other interesting things lined up including a tour support slot with the legends of US metal My Ruin on their Southern Revelation tour starting Jan 18th 2012 in Glasgow and a brand new endorsement from Peavey/Trace Elliot in the offing to go with the Wornstar clothing and Wrestling Press endorsements things are looking good for the forseeable Badass future!
