MC Plus+ (Homepage, with free downloads) is a Computer Science PhD student at Purdue University. Along with the Empty Set, Plus+ writes hip-hop based loosely on his studies and experiences as a CS grad student. A couple years ago, Stanford CS grad student and rapper Monzy wrote a dis track ("Drama in the PhD") targeting Plus+, intending to start a West-coast/Midwest rivalry between the two (trying to bring attention to the nerdcore hip-hop scene). Plus+ responded to Monzy in a few tracks of his second album, Chip-Hop. On January 12, 2007, Plus+ announced that he and Monzy had set aside their differences after battling in person. Future collaborations are possible now. Read more on Last.fm. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
