Madensuyu started their musical career by ending third in Belgian rock competition Humo's Rock Rally 2004, after Absynthe Minded and The Van Jets. The name Madensuyu is derived from Turkish and means mineral water. A first EP, containing four songs, was released in 2005, dubbed Adjust We. In april 2006 their debut album, A Field Between, was released, containing the four tracks on Adjust We, adding five new tracks. In 2008 their second full album, D is done, was released. Their third full album, Stabat Mater, was released in october 2013. Madensuyu consists out of one drummer and one guitar player, Stijn 'Ylode' De Gezelle and PJ Vervondel. Read more on Last.fm.
