Manifold

There are two artists with this name: 1.) Manifold - it's psychedelic, it's power full its dark and its extremely radioactive! Manifold is a solid creative union between Edward Cybered & Alexander Sulima. Before founding this project in the year 2003 both artists had obtained an extensive experience in electronic music production, sound engineering and djing. That’s why their collaborative work quite soon brought noticeable results. Edward (aka Cybered) – is a techno trance dj from Moscow, born in 1979 and started visiting parties in the middle of 90s. Few years later he started to make goa and acid music with his brother, using fast tracker. In the year 2000 he founded psytech project Cybered that caught attention of Alex Tolstey, the owner of legendary labels Boshke Beats and Horns Hoofs Entertainment, and soon first tracks were released world wide. Also in 2002-2004 Cybered was a resident of Swedish label Moonflower records playing dj sets around Russia. Alexander Sulima (1977) – is a very experienced producer who has worked as a sound engineer on commercial music together with various established Russian artists. He started with music in the early 90s, at the beginning of the techno-rave revolution. As various styles of electronic music developed, Sulima tried writing many of them such as hardtech, gabba/hardcore, electro-rave, industrial, acid house… and finally found himself fully consumed by psychedelic trance. Sulima’s music has its unique twisted tribal flavour with its impressive production and crispy sound synthesis. It is quite different from all his other projects and it solely focuses on the powerful and mysterious night themes. His tracks were released on Russian and international labels. And his solo album is ready and will be released soon on Australian based label Blitz Studios. When Sulima and Cybered listened to demo records of each other, they understood that they will best work together and starting to organize their studio. After few years of hard work on inventing individual style of full power night time psytrance their debut album X–Ray Attraction have seen the light in 2005, released on biggest Russian psychedelic label Deja Vu records. And this CD really had attracted psytrance lovers and project got many fans world wide. Soon after that Manifold tracks appears on compilations of such well known labels as Nexus Media, Digital Psionics, Y.S.E. During the year 2007 guys worked hard on Manifold second album, developing their powerful full on style. The idea was to make it even more diverse and original than the first one. And result was Mental Suggestion album, released in September 2008 at Sun Station records. Manifold is also famous for their great live performances, which are always carefully prepared and cause stunning effect on dance floors. That was proved by many gigs around Russia and abroad. 2.) Manifold is also an independent rock band from Tucson, Arizona (tus) whose unorthodox song structures, complex guitar parts and opaque lyrics frequent accusations of being "prog," "metal," or "post-rock."
