Manuel Luna is a Spanish folk music researcher, singer and radio conductor. His folk band, "La Cuadrilla Maquilera" has recorded 8 albums combining roots music with the most state-of-the-art contributions to the field of instrumentation and musical arrangements. Their repertoire gathers most of the popular chord-phonic music from the Spanish peasant-like traditional bands. They have participated in countless festivals and television/radio programs in countries such as Portugal, Greece, Turkey, France, Italy, Norway and Spain. Nowadays, Manuel Luna is the director of the Spanish "Radio 3" program "La Taratana" (before known as "Folk Iberia") dedicated to Spanish roots music.
