Mathletes are a 4 piece pop rock band from Chicago Download the 'Mathletes EP' right here: http://www.blackgoldsociety.com/mathletes for show's, picture's, & mp3's: http://www.myspace.com/mathletes Teen idols MATHLETES star in this electrifying action-thriller of an international contraband ring whose illicit business turns to murder. The band, comprising of Chris (lead vocals and guitar), Brian (bass), Greg (lead guitar), and Nick (drums), are four Chicago friends who spend their days looking for a way to get the power and respect they call “juice”. To reward them for their efforts, MATHLETES are invited by their bosses, Josh Cain of Motion City Soundtrack and Jordan Schmidt (All Time Low, Sing it Loud, The Morning light), to their beachside pleasure palace to record a sick self-titled debut EP. But luckily, even a couple stiffs won’t stop this party! Featuring some of the most “death-defying skateboarding” (Los Angeles Daily News) and riffage ever recorded, MATHLETES make quite a splash as they dodge bullets, babes, and bodies in the wackiest, wildest weekend of their lives.
