Mellows

Mellows began in a freshman dorm room in Michigan with only a Gameboy and an acoustic guitar. A semester of glitching and strumming lead to the addition of delicate female vocals as well as a live drummer, expanding their lo-fi pop gems into dynamic, psychedelic jams. Further down the lysergic path, Mellows began recording what would be their debut 7”. “It’s In the Stones” and “Ghostriding” are two local favorites – self-recorded in living rooms and self-produced in a variety of others. Bright melodies soar over delicious 8-bit buzz, folk rock, and analog-synths drenched in glassy reverb. Expect Mellows to be hummed and repeated in the heads friends and foes alike.
