Michel Moriny discovered his love for music in early 1990 when he started to work as a DJ. As a Resident DJ named “DJ SPY” He played different styles of music in various night clubs such as: Crazy Hoelstein,CH Sissach,Piranha Muttenz and 3 D The Club Biberist. It was here where he also had his own live Radio Show every Thursday night. It was very successful for more than 3 years. While he was travelling all around Switzerland, he was often a “Guest DJ “in different Night Clubs .He also played successful performances in neighbouring countries of Switzerland. With his friend Roger Weisskopf ( DJ White) they travelled through Switzerland and they played awesome sets in Clubs ,Open Air events and Pub Festivals. They worked the same events as many talented DJ's: DJ Loona, DJ Samy, Hermes House Band, Vengaboys, Captain Jack to name a few. In his own Studio, Michel Moriny trained hard on changing his music style to Trance and Progressive. His first booking was at the famous Trance night club UTOPIA in Basel. Following the success of his first gig, he became a sought after DJ and the bookings just started rolling in. He worked together with Tatana, Max B Grand, Energy Brooklyn Bounce , TP One , DJ Dean -Tunnel Records Germany, Cosmic Gate, Sakin and friends and many more world class DJs . Towards the end of the 2004 he decided to specialise in Trance and changed his name to DJ MICHEL MORINY. While he was producing a few tracks with his friend, Christoph Gerber, he met the people from Toxic Records, Germany: Ray Burton, Titus, Hifonic, HiBaetz, Bazzemorph, Pedro Ferrari ( ex member of Ravers Nature )Black Angel and C.Reiss. Due to the great teamwork of Michel Moriny, TP One and Toxic Records, they produced their first track in 2005: “Michel Moriny vs.TP One – Hard Stuff” including the Remix of C.Reiss vs.Bazzemorph and Mike Caine meets. Streamrocker The track was a resounding success and maintained a very good position in the Swiss DJ Charts for over ten weeks . It was also licensed in Compilations like : “Mega Club Hits Vol.2” ( Zyx Music Germany) “The Club Mix2006”( Zyx Music Germany) “Hard Club Vol.5” Tunnel Records( Sony BMG Music Entertainment) “ Mega Club Hits Vol.2” ( House Nation Germany) “ Net-Radio Dance Charts” ( House Nation Germany ) The Project M.A.C.H. 4 DJs were another success of the team.. Two tracks were licensed by Tunnel Trance Force Vol .34 . “ M.A.C.H. 4 DJs - Fight and Toxic United Artist – Unite in Music ( M.A.C.H. 4 DJs live @ Streetparade Remix ) In the Toxic Records studios Germany, Michel Moriny and Ray Burton created the Instrumental Club Mix : “ Petro Ferrari- Way of love” by Burton& Moriny .
