Talib Kweli and Mick Boogie will team up to release a mixtape entitled "MCEO" on Monday, March 10. In addition to artists from Kweli's Blacksmith label, such as Jean Grae and Strong Arm Steady, the work will also feature Joell Ortiz, Planet Asia and Res. Mick Boogie and Talib Kweli make an appearance in the current issue of Urb magazine to discuss and promote the mixtape, with Mick handling the journalist duties during a quick question and answer session. "I had to master the language of business in the same way I have mastered lyricism in order to keep bringing it the way I want it brought," explains Kweli. "Being MCEO is just a continuation of who I am as an MC. I know that held up against the other stuff in the market, my crew will shine bright...the entire Blacksmith movement!" In addition to the interview, urb.com and imeem.com are currently streaming three tracks from "MCEO" entitled "Say That Again," "Screamin'" and "Big Homey." Kweli and Mick Boogie also discuss upcoming projects such as the long-awaited Reflection Eternal album, Kweli's group projects with Res and Planet Asia and Mick Boogie's upcoming works with Lil' Wayne, Big Pooh of Little Brother and Busta Rhymes.
