Naquil: Born Nathaniel Killins IV January 19,19?? Detroit Michigan.Hearing the infectious sounds of Kraftwerk,SoulSonic Force(Arthur Baker) Cybotron(Juan Atkins), began his passion for street dancing (Waving,Popping,Locking).Exposed to this electronic phenomenon, Naquil asked his mom for a portable casio for christmas at age sixteen, this electronic baptism soon turned to an obsession, hearing his most major influence circa 1984, Mantronik of the group Mantronix, while doing a backspin on the floor at a friends house.Naquil then persuaded his mother to purchase him a drum machine which gravitated him even deeper into the electronic abyss.Seeing Herbie Hancocks "Rockit" & Paul Hardcastle's "Rain Forrest" videos, also influenced Naquil's vision as he watched them play remote keyboards. The early 90's sprouted Chicago's "House Music" and "Detroit Techno" this was the launchpad for Naquil's debut.1993-94 Naquil released "Man vs.Machine" his 1st 12" E.P. on his imprint label "Infra-Red" as pseudos "Nate Krafft,SuperNova,debonair(Perception/Garage/DeepHouse) & of course Naquil".
