Nervous Patterns was a short lived project by the extraordinarily talented Jay Reatard and Alicja Trout. In their other projects, such as Lost Sounds, themes revolve around an apocalyptic future, and importantly, rebelling and fighting against the evils that be in that chaos. Nervous Patterns, on the other hand, still revolves around themes of an apocalyptic future, but apathetically accept the horrors with which they are dealt. These key differences between similarly themed concepts paint an entirely different listening experiences for dedicated fans. Such vision could only be created by artists who are entirely in tune with the greater landscape of their portrait. Read more on Last.fm.
