There are three artists by the name of nique: 1. a german alternative rock band 2. an electro artist (DJ Nique) 3. an american hip-hop artist NIQUE were formed in January 2000 by four young men from Berlin, Germany. After their former bands had split up, they decided to go for their mutual interests. The music of NIQUE lies in between the styles of Rock, Alternative, Experimental and Jam. After NIQUE had put out their debut EP "Gravitones" in 2003, they played the clubs in and around Berlin, were booked for small festivals and appeared on local television. They released their first longplayer "At The Feelies", which was self-produced and recorded in their rehearsal space, in 2006. at the time they are producing their newest album, which is due to be released in fall 2009.
