Nironic

Nironic is a Prague (Czech Republic) based rapper originally from NY, Bronx. Before beginning to perform solo, he was a member of various projects, such as Cherry Hill or The Regime (with UK rapper Emdee). His solo career began with the album Chronicles of a Nomad, relased in the early 2007 and completely produced by DJ Wich. Recently, under a new label, he relased free dowload 11 tracks EP Let's go, with guest apereances from Rasco, Indy and Dara Rolins. At the age of 12 Niro began his music career rapping in local schoolyard battles. It was not till age14 that he picked up his first instrument, the guitar. He played in a few bands in NYC before switching to drums at 18 when starting collage. While attending school as a jazz performance/ music education major, he start to work at S.I.R studios where he came in contact with a wide range artist from AC/DC to Jay -Z and Steely Dan. After 2 year he left the studio and school to tour with the Grammy winning rock band Living Color. It was during this time that Nironic was encouraged to step into the spotlight as a Lyricist. After touring with the band for a few years Nironic ended up in Prague and started the band “Cherry Hill” with fellow American living abroad Loren Coble. The band gained instant notoriety. Shortly after Ni linked up with 2 Brits living in Prague, Emdee and Dj Tuco and they formed “The Regime”. Nironic's works with the groups brought him to the attention of Dj WIch the Number 1 hip hop producer in the country, after 2 successful singles they decided to create the LP "chronicles of a nomad". The record led to them getting and Andel Award nomination and solo deals at Skoop records. During the time at Skoop Nironic release the "Lets Go ep" that took the net by storm and was download over 150,000 times. In 2009 throw independent channels he release "I AM Music" do to very little label support the record was well received by fans but poorly promoted and even after its release was hard to find.
