Offbeat Heroes

Offbeat Heroes, straight from the heart of the midlands UK, are bringing you their own style of politically charged punk/ska/dub/hardcore. The 5 piece band, have taken influence from such bands like - Capdown, Choking Victim/Leftover crack, Farse, No Ca$h, Operation ivy, Citizen fish and many more! Their lyrics are not strictly pollitical they convey their morals as individuals and modern day thinking liberals! 2007 saw Offbeat heroes do their first UK tour, in which they travelled from lands end (cornwall) right up to the shetland isles. Along the way, they played with such bands as Citizen fish, AOS3, SonicBoomSix, The Restarts, Moral Dilema and Splitside! After the tour, offbeat's Focused on spending the rest of 2007 perfecting the new material. Moving in to 2008 they signed themselves over to PUMPKIN RECORDS (uk) and have completed a 6week european tour which completly raped them for all they were worth. For this tour they teamed up with Ex kamikaze sperm members, martin, jake and beanie to create the offbeat 7. However, the turn of 2009 and things are pretty quiet! we are all taking some time out to concentrate on slightly more important commitments. As far as a future goes for the offbeat heroes we shall wait and see. gigs will happen agan at some point... under what line up... who knows. Offbeat heroes ARE strictly DIY and believe in doing everything for yourself! With no middle man or major corporations sponging from your creativity!
