Oliver Future is an indie rock band from Los Angeles. They originally hail from Austin, Texas. Their new CD, Pax Futura, Produced by Adam Lasus (who produced the debut record by clap your hands say yeah) was released on July 24th, 2007 on Fireproof Recordings. The band takes its name after a car accident between Olivia Newton John, and the Future prime minister of Rangoon (Crab Rangoon). Oliver Future will record a follow up album with Adam Lasus starting in December, coinciding with a 2009 album release and tour. Read more on Last.fm.
