One Reason is three people that play music (Lexie, Ginger, Greg) and one person that habitually cleans and draws (Richrd) that are for the most part based out of the tiny town of Cleveland, Mississippi. Unbelievably, we celebrated our 6th collective birthday March 12th. Until July of 2004 One Reason was also made up of Ronny Joe Cresswell. He wrote for and recorded on all of our releases up to that point and we owe at least 1/3 of what we are as a band to him. Thank you. We've been on some good tours, some bad tours, put out some records, put too many miles on our van, cooked lots of meals for new friends, had meals cooked for us, and been completely fulfilled by the experience. We believe we are just a punk band that is not musically, emotionally, or mentally dead. We could be hardcore but we aren't afraid to carry melody in our vocals. We could be an indie rock band but we aren't afraid to dance. We could be a punk band but we aren't afraid to not play power chords. We've been told we are powerful and we like to hope that's true. (Everyone is powerful) We are all "about" a DIY revolution and the potential for us and the great people around us to create a positive world out of the trash thrown at us daily from American culture. We hope to use our music as a vehicle to meet the people that will continue to inspire us. Read more on Last.fm.
