Dark orchestral The above term loosely describes the sounds of Orchestra Diabolica. The music is also infused with rhythms and disturbing ambiance. My influences are many, including film, books, and music. Orchestra Diabolica is an exploration of the dark and elemental - of fantasy and reality. -Anthony M. July, 2009 Anthony M. first got involved in music in 1987 by playing bass guitar in punk and metal bands such as Feudal Society. These groups were Inspired by a diverse range of sounds and styles. It was in these groups he began learning the basics of arranging and playing. In the early 1990s, Anthony joined the Necrodoom band Gomorrah, side project of Will Kuberski of Deteriorot. Despite the brevity of this collaboration, a full-length CD has been released under the Elegy Records label. In the mid-nineties, the precursor to Orchestra Diabolica was formed under the name Blood Moon Order. A limited four-song cassette tape was recorded and released independently. Shortly after, Blood Moon Order became a touring three piece band. Orchestra Diabolica is a return to a more experimental, and symphonically influenced sounds. Read more on Last.fm.
