Oscillist is a Southern California native whose sound has quickly garnered healthy enthusiasm throughout the internet community, resulting in his recent signing with the up-and-coming Scotland-based Offworld Recordings. Harboring strong inspirational roots in drum & bass, ambient, metal, the ever-encompassing "idm" genre as well as jazz & classical, pasting genre tags onto his own unique soundscapes is near impossible. A raw, liberated beauty courses through the veins of each track, engendering distilled images of nature's effortless beauty to the mind's eye. This creative intent is reined away from the self-indulgent pitfalls electronica is often criticized for by grounded, knowledgeable respect for both proper composition & post-production mastering.
