Patxi (born Patxi Garat) was one of the contestants of the third edition of Star Academy (France) in 2003. Patxi was semi-finalist opposite Michal (who lost in the final against Elodie Frégé) A first single "A l'anglaise" was released the following year but it received mixed-reviews and was a minor hit. In fact, all singles from the third Star Academy weren't very successful, including the single from the winner. During the following two years, Patxi prepared his first album with the help of french artists such as Louis Chedid, Pierre Souchon and Jil Caplan. The result is "S'embrasser", released in September 2006. Out of this album two singles were released, first the title track and afterwards "On peut toujours rêver". In May 2010 a second album was released, "Amour Carabine" with lead single "Le début du siècle". Read more on Last.fm.
