Paul Orta began playing music at the age of 7. Paul Orta started his first pro band at the age of 16. In 1979 Paul Orta moved to Austin, TX. Paul Orta entered, upon arrival in Austin, TX, the University of Antones playing with blues greats suchs as Jimmy Rogers, Hubert Sumlin, Snooky Pryor, Eddie Taylor, Matt "Guitar" Murphy, Pinetop Perkins, Sunnyland Slim and many, many more. Paul Orta has fronted his band The Kingpins and various other bands over the years. Paul Orta has performed in the U.S.A., Spain, England, Germany, Italy, France, Ireland, Norway, Brazil, Belgium, Russia, Switzerland, Sweden, Portugal, Poland, Denmark, Austria & The Netherlands.
