Peking Man were a New Zealand band formed by Pat Urlich in 1983, along with Perry Marshall, Neville Hall, Tim Calder, and John Fearon. After the relase of their Venetian Blinds EP, Pat's sibling Margaret Urlich joined the band at the same time as Jay F'Bula. Three chart hits followed: Lift Your Head Up High, Room That Echoes, and Good Luck To You; the APRA awards were generous: Best Single, Best Album (for their eponymous release), Top Male Vocalist, Top Female Vocalist, Top Group. Shortly thereafter they disbanded, with Margaret Urlich moving on to a solo career. Read more on Last.fm.
