Known previously for his crazy and intense DJ set, Paris based Stephane Rault has been releasing music under his production moniker PHATMATIX for the last 4 years and is now regarded as one of the current top french night acts touring the world. His debut album 'Sorcery' was released by top Japanese label YABAI and was an instant success on the world's dancefloors. It's a mind-blowing trip infused with the mystic tales of dragons and the world of twilight creatures and combined with compilation releases on highly respected international labels has affirmed his position as a leading producer of contemporary cutting-edge psychedelic music. The dynamic and ever evolving sound of Phatmatix combines funky rhythmic beats with quirky effects and supernatural atmospheres. This soundscape creates an unpredictable contrast between dark and light that keeps DJs and dancers alike begging for more - this had lead Stephane to work on his highly anticipated second album due on Yabai in 2008. You can expect a complex mix of industrial grooves, deep atmospheres and hi tech driving leads that will lead the dancefloor into a frenzy! The future is looking bright for Stephane as in addition to his solo project, he is working with Julian from DIGITAL TALK on the psy techno orientated production project MINDCORE.
