Philipp Vandré, pianist received his pianistic training with Leonard Hokanson and Raymund Havenith at the College of Music and Performing Arts in Frankfurt / Main. The meeting with Hans Otte and Sergiu Celibidache also characterized him. His widely acclaimed performance at the "Anarchic Harmonie" Festival in Frankfurt am Main in 1992 with the Sonatas and Interludes by John Cage opened up his engagements in the music centers of Europe and at various festivals of new music. Vandré has performed extensively with the Ensemble Modern and with orchestras such as RSO Frankfurt, RSO Köln, the Nationaltheater Mannheim or the Bochum Symphoniker. In 1995, he founded the Turfan Ensemble for experimental music. RTBF Brussels and Germany Radio devoted a portrait to Vandré. In addition, Rundfunkaufnahmen and CD productions (published by Mode New York and kreuzberg records Berlin) document the extraordinary work of the pianist. Read more on Last.fm.
