Pineapple is an indie pop/rock band from Vancouver BC Canada fronted by Cameron Dilworth, former leader of The Neins Circa. On drums, Cary Pratt of Prairie Cat; on bass, Aaron McKinney of SSRI's; on guitar and synth, John Sparnoski of The Joint Chiefs of Math. The album was recorded by Caleb Stull of Vancouver's Parlor Steps with the exception of a few tracks Dilworth recorded at home. Put simply, this album plays like a fun mix tape. A combination of Dilworth's writing experience, unique voice and interesting lyrics backed by strong local musicians makes for something worth listening to. The band's songs have been compared to the likes of Dr.Dog, La Shark, Neutral Milk Hotel, VU, Sparks, Modern Lovers, Beck, Bowie, Beatles, Pixies.
