This two piece from louisville pukes out heavy noise rock with a drum set and a guitar with a bass string. David Brooks and Aaron Osbourne try to keep it simple and heavy. Plows is not fast music by any means, mid tempo is their forte. Imagine if Shellac and Hammerhead had a baby that was born and raised in Louisville, KY. PLOWS first full-length "Those People" came out at the beginning of October 2007. This was soon followed by a 7inch split record with Young Widows on Auxiliary records, and a second full Length record titled "I hate my car and I want to die" in January of 2010. Plows went on hiatus with 10 songs of drums and guitar recorded. This potential second record lay dormant until december 2009 when Brooks and Osbourne got together and finished the vocals on the record. Being that the songs were just demos at the time many of the endings and certain parts of the songs were made up as they were being played/recorded which applies to the tracks: Angels, Highway song, Comes Alive, and Moonlighting. This record titled "I hate my car and I want to drive" was released for free on the internet on january 1, 2010. The record was mastered by chris owens of lords. All of the music was recorded with sm 58 microphones and garageband as the interface. The instrumentation was recorded in a practice space sometime in 2008. The guitar and drums were in the same room at the same time using two SM58s. The vocals were recorded using an SM58 in a different space in 2010. Plows has not played a show in years but might play again in the near future. Read more on Last.fm.
