Preacher Stone was formed In 2008 by songwriters Marty Hill and Ronnie Riddle to create a musical style that is reminiscent of real Classic Rock/Southern Rock, while staying current with a “Hard Country” sound. With the band’s 2009 release of their self-titled first CD, their song "Not Today" garnered interest by and was used on the popular TV Series Sons of Anarchy. (Season 3, Episode 3). Since then, things have been happening rapidly for the band. They started off 2011 by playing with Lynyrd Skynyrd on The Simple Man Cruise and closed out the year by playing with ZZ Top and many other notable legendary acts on The 2011 Rock Legends Cruise. In a short amount of time, their music has sky rocketed to the ears of classic rock and southern rock fans in over 45 countries. Beginning only three years ago, Preacher Stone’s music has not only been on the popular TV series "Sons of Anarchy", but also appears on the movie "Witness Insecurity". Additionally, the band has a song on “Go Truck Go”, an Extreme Motorsports DVD collection set. They also have the theme song for the paranormal show "What Lies Beyond." Preacher Stone has a song called “Hand on The Bible”, averaging well over 1100 hits a day on You Tube. It has become a parents’ favorite song and listed with Paul Stookey’s “The Wedding Song” and Paul Simon’s “Father and Daughter” as one of the top wedding/ father-daughter dance songs! "Best Father Daughter Wedding Songs "Songs you can play for this dance: ''The Angel in My Arms'' by Gloria Sklerov and Barbara Rothstein, ''Always'' by Randy Frankin, ''Hand on the Bible'' by Preacher Stone, ''You're your father's daughter'', ''Father and Daughter'' by Paul Simon, ''Father's Love'', ''Thanks for being my Dad'', ''Love of a Father'', ''Dad, You're My Hero'' by Teresa James, ''Daddy's Little Girl'', ''My Little Girl'' by Miley and Billy Ray Cyrus and many others.
