Born in Maracay, Venezuela, November 25th, 1970. He pursued musical studies since 1977 until 1978 at the Escuela Sinfónica Infantil, where he started studying violin. He began autodidactic studies of classic guitar at the age of 12, and electric guitar at the age of 14. He continues his studies of guitar to date. Between 1986 and 1992 he joined several groups in which he started to compose music blending classic and contemporary elements. He performed at several festivals and shows in his country and in some professional recordings. Since 1992 he has been dedicated to his musical projects as a soloist, composing music for guitar and group. In 2000 he produced his first album, Dreams, which includes one of his work as an independent writer, the science fiction story "Dreams", and in 2001 his second album, The Dreams Concerto, a Concerto for Guitar, Group and Chamber Orchestra in 3 movements, featuring 15 guest artists, including renown musicians as Andrés Briceño, Pedro Castillo, Pablo Gil, and Carlos Orozco, and British painter Peter Rodulfo. This last release was played live for the first time at the sixth issue of BajaProg Festival in Baja California Mexico, where he was playing joined by a 7 musician ensemble, including renown drummer Andrés Briceño. In 2003 he released "To LIVE a Dream - Official Bootleg" and "To LIVE a Dream 2 - Official Bootleg", two live full downloadable virtual albums, available from his website www.RaimundoRodulfo.com and featuring music from several live performances as BajaProg, ProgJazz and concert opening for The Flower Kings. All those albums and concerts, as well as Raimundo's work as guitarist and composer, have received the best reviews and many international recognitions in more than 20 countries. Parallel to his musical career, Raimundo Rodulfo is an Electronics Engineer, specialized in Digital Systems and Telecommunications, and he has dedicated several years to Research and Development both in the academical and industrial fields. He has worked as a Recording Engineer in his own recording studio, for his own projects and other artists as well. As former member of ACIC (Cultural Iniciatives Civil Society), he has participated as colaborator in four concert shows in Caracas, Venezuela, with reknown international artists, including British star Rick Wakeman, reknown Swedish Rock band The Flower Kings, virtuoso Hungarian Ensemble After Crying and Caracas Chamber Ensemble. As independent producer/organizer, he produced the concert show ProgJazz 2001 in Barquisimeto, Venezuela. He also produced and organized two academic events for the Centro Occidental University of Barquisimeto (UCLA): Pablo Gil Jazz Improvisation Master Classes (Feb 2001) and Andrés Briceño Drum Clinic Master Class (Apr 2002); and one plastic show: British painter Peter Rodulfo show, all of them at the UCLA's Auditorium.
