Renee Sandstrom or Renee Sands (born Renee Ilene Sandstrom, February 15, 1974 in Worcester, Massachusetts) is an American actress and pop singer. Best known for her work on the 80s children's television show 'Kids Incorporated' and with the trio Wild Orchid (which also included fellow Kids Inc. cast member Stacy "Fergie" Ferguson), she has achieved more recent fame for singing in Disney-related productions, such as doing the 2008 song "Here I Am". Renee also provided the singing voice for Princess Fiona in the popular animated films 'Shrek' and 'Shrek 2'. Appearing alongside fellow Kids Inc. cast member Moosie Drier, who did ADR voice work for the movies, she's become a voice actress with several prominent roles. For example, she additionally did the 'Pump it Up' theme song on various Crystal Light commercials, a product of Kraft Foods, Inc. Her aforementioned role on the Disney Channel film 'Camp Rock' involved providing the singing voice for Jasmine Richards' character Margaret "Peggy" Dupree, with Renee's track "Here I Am" being a part of the movie's popular soundtrack album.
