It is no surprise that Reuben Hollebon comes from a small town near the bleak and beautiful Norfolk coast – because his music contains exactly those qualities. The songs of the Norwich born musician are intense and uncompromising favouring intimacy over grandeur. Tracks such as 'Seven' and 'Home' bear testament to an apparent obsession with a changing landscape on the edge of an island country, whilst themes of those nearby and a certain British ambiguity with it all stay close throughout.
