REV 16:8 is a black metal band hailing from Stockholm, Sweden formed in 2008. Formerly known as Bloodshed and Scythe. On the 12th of February, 2012 Rev 16:8 announced that they have stopped. This is their original message: As of February 2012, REV 16:8 as a band is no more. The reason for the decision is solely personal, and the decision is mutual for the people involved. The recording session that would have taken place in June at Endarker Studio has been cancelled and no more recordings will be done from this band in the future.
